Heat Level Ratings

The "heat level" ratings of our books rates the language and sexual content of our books. Please note that all books rated Sweet are intended for readers 13+, all books rated Spicy or Smokin' are intended for readers 18+. We suggest PARENTAL GUIDANCE for any reading material for children under 18.

Crush: (G)-- Romances targeted for teens or adults that are still safe for preteens.  You will see this rating mostly in our Young Adult and Inspirational Romances.

Sweet: (PG-PG13)--Most romances fall into this category.  The love scenes may get a bit steamy, but there is no explicit sex. Some YA may fall into this category.

Spicy (R-NC17)--Most of our Erotic Romance books fall into this category.  These stories have all of the elements of a good romance story, but also include explicit sex scenes.

Smokin': (XXX)--these stories are well written erotic fiction with explicit sex scenes that may push limits.  There may or may not be romance/romantic elements in these stories.  This level is mostly found in our Erotica section.
