How to Submit
Please email a query letter and synopsis (synopsis should be no longer than 2 single spaced pages) to
submissions@accomplicepress.com
. Synopsis should be saved as a .doc and attached to email. Be sure to include a brief hook, word count, as well as any marketing ideas you might have. Selling a book in today’s market is a tough proposition. So the first step is a great query letter. That tells us if you know how to market and sell your book.
We will NOT visit your website for samples of your work, so do not suggest it to us. If you do your query will be deleted without consideration.
Our response time is no more than 90 days. If we like your query and synopsis we will ask for your full manuscript. Then, and only then, will we accept any attachments. The file must be saved as a .doc (Word Document) and saved in the following format: author name-title, i.e. Blood in the Ring by Mary Mayhem would be saved as: Mayhem_bloodinthering.doc.
SUBMITTING A SHORT STORY/NOVELLA:
Please follow above instructions with the following changes:
You must attach the FULL manuscript to the email in a .doc file saved using the instructions above.
All manuscripts must be submitted as one continuous document. Submissions in multiple documents (i.e. separate docs for each chapter) will be deleted with out being read.
