Accomplice Press is launching a line called Curvalicious. The Curvalicious line will be short novella length stories featuring plus size heroines. Curvalicious heroines are beautiful, strong, intelligent women who get the guy without losing weight or changing their bodies.

Curvalicious will have two categories. Curvalicious Sweet is romance with sweet or sensual love scenes, but no explicit language or sex. Curvalicious Spicy is erotic romance containing explicit language and sex scenes.

Curvalicious books will be printed in e-book with periodic print anthologies.

To kick off our line we are hosting a contest. We are now accepting submissions for both Curvalicious categories. Winning submissions will be contracted and published in e-book form by Accomplice Press. The TOP THREE of EACH category will be First Curvalicious Print Anthologies (Spicy and Sweet will each have their own anthologies printed.)

To Enter:
Submit your full manuscript in .doc format to curvecontest@accomplicepress.com. In your email you must include your name, email address, the Title and word count of your story and which category (spicy or sweet) it falls into.

SUBMISSIONS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN MIDNIGHT ON MAY 14 , 20010 TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE CONTEST AND ELIGIBILITY FOR THE FIRST PRINT ANTHOLOGY.

All submissions must be between 15,000 and 35,000 words.
Submissions can be of ANY sub-genre, but MUST follow our general guidelines for Romance:

Romance (any sub-genre) - A creative twist on the old plots. Romance stories should be a love story between a male and female (if otherwise, please see gay/lesbian submission guidelines). Relationship between hero and heroine should be fully realized by the end of the story with a Happy Ever After OR Happy for Now ending. Story should be written mainly from the heroine’s point of view, (however, including hero’s POV can strengthen story). Story should have a strong plot and well developed secondary characters. Please specify the heat level of your story in your query letter using the following gauge:

* Romance will be graded by the following heat levels: Sweet- fully realized love story with no sex scenes.
* Sensual-fully realized love story with detailed love scenes that push but do not cross the boundaries of eroticism or explicitness.
* Explicit-We are now accepting romance with explicit sex. It MUST adhere to the other requirements of romance and must be tasteful.
