The Writer’s Workbook by DJ Alling

not just another “how to” book

The Writer’s Workbook is a “do” book. Author, DJ Alling hasn’t written a book that will teach you how to write.  She has put together

a compilation of worksheets that help with all of those tedious pre-writing tasks.

Many writers use worksheets as tools in their pre-writing activities, and The Writer’s Workbook is meant as a toolbox.  There are multiple copies of each worksheet, so you can work on many stories in one workbook.  The worksheets have ample writing space, and

most are lined.

From the Author:

The Writer’s Workbook started out as nothing more than me needing a way to keep all the worksheets I use to write in one spot that I could carry with me wherever I go (I’m famous for having loose notes everywhere). As I talked to some of my writer friends, they expressed the same need. This workbook is a compilation of worksheets that I originally created for myself. The concept for these worksheets came from years of reading “how-to” books, taking workshops online, and seeing worksheets other authors used. I hope they can help you as they help me.
